Earth trembled due to earthquake in Pakistan too

An earthquake was felt in Pakistan on Sunday, whose intensity was recorded at 5.3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt at around 3:54 in the morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 150 kilometers from the ground. The tremors were so strong that people came out of their homes. People ran towards open spaces. The important thing is that there was no news of any kind of damage here either.

How does an earthquake occur?

The earth is mainly made up of four layers. These four layers are known as the inner core, outer core, mantle and crust. The crust and upper mantle together form the ‘lithosphere’. This approximately 50 kilometer thick layer is known as ‘tectonic plates’ and is divided into many parts. These plates keep moving in their place, and when this vibration becomes strong, earthquake tremors are felt.
