The weather will remain bad in Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for seven districts of the state. Along with this, people traveling in the mountainous districts have been appealed to be cautious.

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Dehradun, Tehri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts on July 5. While light to moderate rains are expected in other districts. In view of the possibility of landslides in sensitive areas, meteorologists have appealed to people traveling in the mountains to be cautious.
