Sports Minister Rekha Arya on Wednesday felicitated the players of the state who performed well in the 20th National Ice Skating Competition held in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.

More than 500 players from across the country participated in this competition held at Himadri Ice Skating Rink in Dehradun from 25 to 30 June. 23 players from Uttarakhand participated in various speed and figure skating competitions and won 9 medals.
The government will provide practice facilities at low fees
Sports Minister Rekha Arya also announced that talented skating players in the state will be provided practice facilities at low fees, so that they can improve their game without any hindrance.
