Uttarakhand: Grounding ceremony of Rs 1 lakh crore will be organized under Investor Summit in Rudrapur, Union Minister Amit Shah will participate, Dhami instructed the officials to complete the preparations on time

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, during a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday, directed the officials to complete the preparations in a timely manner for the successful organization of the proposed grounding ceremony of Rs 1 lakh crore in Rudrapur. He said that this program should be organized in a grand and impressive form, so that the industrial progress of the state gets new momentum and identity.

The Chief Minister said that Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest in this grand event. This event will give a new direction to the industrial future of the state and will provide ample employment opportunities to the youth of Uttarakhand. During the Global Investors Summit held in the year 2023, the state government had received investment proposals worth ₹ 3.5 lakh crore. Out of these, grounding of ₹ 1 lakh crore has been done, which shows the confidence of investors towards the industrial development of Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister said that this event will encourage local entrepreneurship and open new doors of economic prosperity of the state. He has instructed the officials to ensure that all the arrangements related to the event are made with alertness and coordination, so that the positive image of the state and the investment-friendly environment can be strongly presented before the country and the world.

Principal Secretary R.K.Sudhanshu, R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Director General of Police A.P.Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, Managing Director Industries Saurabh Gaharwar were present in the meeting.
