Actually former Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi was doing the Mansarovar Yatra. If reports are to be believed, on Saturday, Mansarovar pilgrims reached Darchin in Tibet. During this time she was riding a horse. Due to falling from the horse, she has suffered a lot of injuries in her waist. After which she was taken to the hospital operated on the Yatra route. The X-ray confirmed the injury in her spine.
Rescue will be done by helicopter
Due to serious injuries, she is being brought back to India. Today the rescue team will take her to Lipulekh by vehicle. After which she will be taken to Dehradun by helicopter. In such a situation, everyone’s eyes are fixed on the weather. It will be difficult for the helicopter to fly in bad weather.
