Child injured in grinding stone dies during treatment
The incident is of July 16. On Wednesday, five-year-old Gaurav, a resident of Reeth Mandi (Dehradun), was playing in the street. During this time, a woman from the neighbourhood, Meena Devi, called the child to her house. On the call of the woman, the innocent went to the woman’s house. Where the accused woman started hitting the child’s head with a grinding stone used for grinding chutney one after the other.

Accused woman absconded
Hearing the child’s crying voice, the children ran towards the woman’s house. Seeing the crowd gathered at the spot, the accused woman fled from the spot. A person named Jagram from the crowd picked up the blood-soaked innocent child and took him to the hospital. Where the child was swinging between life and death. On Sunday, the innocent died during treatment.

Police increased charges against the murderous neighbor
The murderous neighbor was arrested by the police last Thursday. During interrogation, the woman told the police that she had a grudge against the child’s mother. Due to which she killed the woman’s son. The accused woman has accused the mother of the deceased child of practicing witchcraft. At present, the police is preparing to increase charges against the woman.
