The entry of a family with criminal background in the district panchayat elections is in the news. Arnav Kamboj, son of Amarchand Kamboj, who was named in the Gangster Act and was earlier expelled from the district, has entered the electoral fray from Gebua Patta Pani district panchayat seat of Nainital district.
Father expelled from the district took up the campaign
It is worth noting that several criminal cases are registered against Amarchand Kamboj. On the basis of the police report and the recommendation of the SSP and DM, the court had ordered his expulsion from the district for six months. Despite this, the same Amarchand is now busy campaigning for his son and is going from village to village seeking support for his son.
Gangster seen in election rallies
Local people are raising questions about the fact that the person who was expelled from the district by the court under the Gangster Act is now openly seen in election rallies. The silence of the administration on this is also raising many questions. Now it remains to be seen what the future of Arnav Kamboj is in the district panchayat elections.
