There is a possibility of a big fraud coming to the fore regarding the reservation of freedom fighters in Uttarakhand. It is alleged that some people are taking advantage of the reservation by getting fake certificates made and claiming themselves to be descendants of freedom fighters.

The matter has been complained about by the Freedom Fighter Successor Family Committee. It has been feared in the complaint that many such fake certificates have been made across the state. The complaint has been taken seriously by the Chief Minister of the state Dhami.
CM Dhami set up SIT investigation
Taking the complaint seriously, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has ordered an SIT investigation into the matter. Chief Minister Dhami has given clear instructions to the Chief Secretary to conduct a thorough investigation of the matter and bring out the whole truth.
