Uttarakhand / Haridwar: Case of sexual abuse of minor daughter, former BJP women leader and lover taken on three-day remand

In the case of sexual exploitation of a minor daughter, the former BJP leader and her lover have been sent on three-day police remand. After the court’s approval, the police took the woman leader and her accused lover Sumit Patwal out of the district jail and brought them to Ranipur police station.

The SIT team will question both of them thoroughly. Digital and documentary evidence will be collected by taking them to Mathura and Agra. Before the police remand, the woman had accused her husband of framing her. The matter is related to property.
