The alleged theft and attack on a girl from Shivdaspur village of Roorkee has taken a new turn. Police investigation has revealed that this case was not of theft but of domestic dispute. In fact, the injured girl was attacked not by any unknown thief but by her elder sister.
After an argument, the elder sister attacked the sister
Giving information about the case, SP Rural Shekhar Chandra Suyal said that at the time of the incident, the parents of the girls had gone to visit relatives and both the sisters were alone at home. During this time, there was an argument between the two sisters over something, after which the elder sister got angry and attacked her younger sister with an iron rod.
She lied to avoid being beaten by the parents
After the incident, when the family returned home and questioned the girl, she fabricated the story out of fear that an unknown thief had entered the house and attacked her. When the police questioned the girl, the truth came out. According to the police, the girl lied so that she could avoid being scolded and beaten by her parents. The police have now exposed the entire case.
