Once again on Rakshabandhan, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given a gift to the women of the state. Women can travel free of cost in roadways buses on the day of Rakshabandhan. After the instructions of the Chief Minister, the Transport Department has issued an order for free travel for women. The burden that will fall on the Transport Department due to free travel will be borne by the government level.

Like every year, this year too the Uttarakhand government has given a gift to the women of the state on Rakshabandhan. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, free travel will be given to all women in Uttarakhand roadways buses on August 9.
Giving information, Pawan Mehra, General Manager (Operations), Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, said that this free facility will be applicable only on ordinary bus services of roadways. Women will be given free travel in it. No paperwork will be required for this.
Free travel for sisters in roadways buses
Let us tell you that in this order, if any bus passes through Uttarakhand and any part of Uttar Pradesh and that bus is being operated by Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, then women will be given free travel in it too. Travel of all sisters within the state will be free.
