High alert for rain in 10 districts of Uttarakhand
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains and cloudbursts for Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Tehri, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh, and Udham Singh Nagar districts. After this warning, the State Emergency Operations Center has issued instructions to all the District Magistrates to remain on high alert.
Landslide alert in the mountains
According to meteorologists, landslides and waterlogging may occur in the hilly areas, which may affect life. The administration has asked the concerned departments to be ready for quick action under disaster management. Also, all departmental nodal officers were asked to remain on high alert.
