The administration has confirmed the disappearance of 68 people in the disaster in Dharali of Uttarkashi. Which includes 25 laborers from Nepal. Relief and rescue work continued on Tuesday as well. But there were many difficulties due to the local people not being in contact with each other.

The connecting culvert was washed away due to the rising water level of Kheer Ganga. This culvert was built for the movement of rescue teams. Apart from this, the pits made to save people were filled with water.
The lake formed in Bhagirathi in Harshil also remains a challenge. The irrigation department, UJVNL has started the work of draining water manually. But this can be challenging.

According to the information received from the State Emergency Operation Center, Uttarkashi district administration has released a list in which they told that one person died in the Dharali disaster. While 68 people are still missing. On Monday, the administration had informed about 42 people missing and one person dead.
