On the occasion of 79th Independence Day, villagers gathered in the courtyard of Sameshwar Devta temple along with the personnel engaged in relief and rescue operations in the disaster-affected Dharali village and hoisted the flag.

SDRF IG Arun Mohan Joshi hoisted the flag in Dharali and assured all possible help to the disaster-affected. On this occasion, a two-minute silence was observed for the peace of their souls by paying emotional tribute to the people who died in the disaster. Also expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
