Last night in Dehradun, a person died under suspicious circumstances after being hit by a train. Police has taken the body of the deceased into custody and sent it for postmortem.
Man hit by train
The incident took place at Harrawala railway station. According to the information, Inspector-in-charge of Doiwala, KK Lunthi said that Dinesh Kumar (48) son of Chaman Lal resident of Mianwala died a painful death after being hit by a train. The body of the deceased was found lying in a mutilated state.
Investigation of the case is going on
Regarding the case, the train’s loco pilot Mahesh Chand Kandpal informed the police that the incident took place around 12:30. A person suddenly came out of the bushes and came under the train. According to the police, prima facie the case seems to be a suicide. Investigation of the case is going on.
