The terror of leopards is increasing in Pauri. On Sunday night, a leopard fatally attacked a seven-year-old child sleeping inside a tent. The child has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Leopard attacks seven-year-old child in Pauri
According to the information received, the incident took place at Satpuli Malli at around 11:30 pm. The leopard tore the tent and attacked Suraj Singh (7), son of Tilak Singh, a native of Nepal, who was sleeping inside. Hearing the child’s screams, a crowd gathered at the spot. After which the leopard ran away leaving the child bleeding.
An atmosphere of panic in the area
In a hurry, the injured Suraj was rushed to the hospital for treatment. It is being told that the child’s hand has been seriously injured in the leopard attack. Leopard attacks are continuously increasing in the area. Due to which there is an atmosphere of panic in the area. The forest department said that cages and trap cameras have been installed in the area. Also, patrolling is going on to catch the leopard.
