On Monday, stones fell from the hill near Naluna on Gangotri Highway. The road has been blocked due to the landslide. Machinery is deployed on the spot to clear the road. Due to bad weather, there are difficulties in clearing the highway.

According to the forecast issued by the Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Dehradun, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Nainital and Bageshwar districts. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for these districts. While there will be a yellow alert for rain in other districts of the state.
