The nomination process was completed today in the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand CAU, the largest cricket organization in Uttarakhand. The nomination process, which started on August 29, was completed on August 30 at 7 pm. Under the nomination process, elections are to be held for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Counselor and two posts of Member of Governing Council of CAU, for which the nomination process has been completed.
Single nomination has been made by Deepak Mehra for the post of President, Ajay Pandey for the post of Vice President, Kiran Rautela Verma for the post of Secretary, Manas Bangwal for the post of Treasurer, Manoj Nautiyal for the post of Counselor and Sunil Kumar Joshi and Arun Tiwari as two members of the Governing Council. Apart from this, two people Aryan Goyal and Noor Alam nominated for the post of Joint Secretary. Now the process of withdrawal of names is left after scrutiny. After that, after the election process of the office bearers is officially completed, the names of the newly elected office bearers will be announced.

While till now the people of the state have seen women performing responsibilities as Chief Secretary and Speaker of the Assembly, now in the coming times, a woman from the hills will also be seen in an important position in the field of cricket in the state. The nomination process has been completed under the election of the office bearers of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand. In this process, Kiran Rautla Verma has been nominated for the post of Secretary of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand. Now after scrutiny and withdrawal of names, if everything remains normal, then soon Kiran Rautla will take over the responsibility of the post of Secretary of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand.
If a daughter of the hills becomes secretary, the enthusiasm of women players will increase: Kiran Rautla Verma is a resident of Tunalka village in Barkot, Uttarkashi and her father is Kedar Singh Rautla and mother is Sushila Rautla. Till now, this is the first time that there has been talk of electing a hill woman to the post of Secretary of the Cricket Association. Not only this, women players are also performing well in the field of cricket. Women players of Uttarakhand have performed better than male players at the national level in the last few years. - Scrutiny of nomination – 31 August from 11 am to 4 pm.
- Announcement of valid nomination candidate – 31 August at 5 pm.
- Objection on valid nomination – 31 August to 2 September.
- Withdrawal of candidate’s name – 1 September from 11 am to 3 September 4 pm.
- Publication of final electoral roll and final list of candidates – 4 September 2025 at 3 pm
- Voting on 6 September 2025 from 12 noon to 2 pm.
- Declaration of result on 6 September 2025 at 3 pm.
