Boulder fell on car on Nainital Road
On Tuesday, a boulder suddenly fell from the hill near Dolmar on Nainital Road on a moving car, due to which the car was completely damaged. Fortunately, the people sitting in the car did not get much injury. All the people are said to be lightly injured. As soon as the information was received, the police and administration team immediately reached the spot. All the people have been taken out of the car and sent to the hospital.
Rivers flowing above the danger mark
Due to torrential rains, all the rivers, streams and canals have overflowed. The administration is constantly appealing to the people living on the banks of the rivers to be alert. Apart from this, many people have been sent to disaster relief camps in Kathgodam and Lalkuan area.
Traffic closed due to Shernala
Gaula Kosi and Nandhaur rivers are flowing above the danger mark. Traffic has been closed due to Shernala in Chorgalia of Haldwani. Apart from this, debris is falling at many places on Nainital road. While Almora and Nainital highway has been closed due to debris near Quarab.
Administration on active mode
In the plains also, the soil erosion of rivers has created a crisis for the farmers. ADM Vivek Rai says that travel to the mountainous area only when necessary. Do not leave the houses unnecessarily. Apart from this, people of the areas near the river are also being appealed to go to a safe place and the police, administration and SDRF team have been kept in active mode for 24 hours.
