They wrote, “It is officially announced that Deepika Padukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. After much deliberation, we have decided to part ways.

Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to continue our partnership. A film like Kalki 2898 AD deserves that commitment and more. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.” This clearly indicates that the makers had doubts about Deepika’s commitment, leading to her removal from the film.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, “The producers were willing to provide the actress with many perks in exchange for longer shift hours. They were providing her with a luxury vanity so that Deepika could relax after work. Discussions were also held with Deepika regarding her fees. In fact, Prabhas hadn’t demanded a fee increase either. However, Deepika and her team refused to make any changes.”

Demand for Five-Star Hotels for the Team
