Uttarakhand: The doors of Hemkund Sahib will be closed today for the winter season, so many devotees have visited till now.
Today, Friday, October 10th, the doors of Hemkund Sahib will be closed for the winter season at 1 p.m. The Hemkund Sahib Trust has made all preparations for this. The doors of the Lokpal Laxman Temple will also be closed today. It should be noted that the area has been experiencing snowfall for the past several days, leaving the entire area covered in snow.
Hemkund Sahib’s doors will close for the winter season today
This year, the final prayer will be offered at the Sikh holy site on Friday, after which the doors will be closed. A large number of devotees have reached Ghangaria before the closing of the doors. It should be noted that the closing process will begin after the recitation of Sukhmani Sahib at 10 a.m.

The doors of the Lokpal Laxman Temple will be closed at 12:31 p.m. Both the Laxman Lokpal Temple and the Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara are located within the same complex. So far, approximately 272,000 devotees have visited Hemkund Sahib.
The doors of Hemkund Sahib were opened on May 25th this year and are being closed today, October 10th. Consequently, the pilgrimage lasted 139 days this year.
