On Monday morning, a team from the Income Tax Department arrived at the home of Haji Imran, owner of a frozen food plant in Mohalla Bhuda, Sarayatrain, within the Hayat Nagar police station area, for a survey. Around 7 a.m., Income Tax officials arrived in approximately 12 vehicles, accompanied by PAC personnel.

Meat Plant Also Surveyed
It is reported that, in addition to the home, the meat plant in Chimyawali village, within the jurisdiction of the police station, was also being surveyed. Furthermore, Income Tax officials in two vehicles also arrived at the residence of an accounting department employee of the firm, a resident of Mohalla Chaman Sarai. PAC personnel were seen stationed outside the employee’s home. During this time, panic spread not only in Sarayatrain but throughout the Chaman Sarai neighborhood.

PAC personnel prevented people from standing around the area and attempting to gather information, but the PAC personnel in the team prevented them from doing so. When local officials were contacted, they denied any knowledge or information regarding the operation.
