Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami arrived in Haldwani on Monday, where he held a coordination meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party’s social media in-charge and organization officials. During the meeting, the Chief Minister called on the social media team to actively engage with the public to make the “Swadeshi Apnao Abhiyan” launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi more effective.

Chief Minister Dhami stated that Prime Minister Modi has taken a major step towards promoting indigenous products by reducing GST rates. He added that awareness programs are being organized continuously to spread this campaign widely in the state.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister urged the social media team to play a key role in promoting the use of indigenous products through digital platforms, so that the message of “Swadeshi in every home, Swadeshi in every home” reaches the general public.

Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Dhami said that this year’s Chardham Yatra in the state was historic and well-organized. He informed that for the convenience of passengers, a new Helicopter Service Policy (SOP) has been prepared with the help of the Central Government, which will enable air services to reach remote areas of the state.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is taking every possible step for the convenience and development of the common people and is rapidly moving towards the goal of a “Developed Uttarakhand”.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was warmly welcomed by local public representatives, senior administrative officials, and citizens upon his arrival in Haldwani on Monday. Upon his arrival at the Circuit House, Haldwani, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat and Kumaon Deputy Inspector General of Police (IG) Riddhima Agarwal welcomed the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Dhami then interacted directly with the public in the Circuit House auditorium and listened to their problems, grievances, and suggestions. Representatives from various sectors, including social organizations, business organizations, women’s groups, youth, farmers, and ordinary citizens, apprised the Chief Minister of the public issues in their respective areas.

During the public hearing, the Chief Minister stated that the state government is working in accordance with public sentiments and aims to ensure prompt resolution of every public problem. He directed officials to take every case received at the public hearing seriously and ensure its prompt resolution.

The Chief Minister also stated that it is the responsibility of all officials to ensure that the benefits of all government welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries without any discrimination. He stated that resolving public problems is the government’s priority. The administrative machinery must become more sensitive and accountable for the convenience of the common citizens.

Chief Minister Dhami directed officials to accelerate the pace of development work, resolve pending cases quickly, and implement government schemes in accordance with public expectations. He stated that the government’s goal is to establish a transparent governance system, in which the public does not have to repeatedly approach the administration.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also issued instructions to the concerned departmental officials to resolve some complaints on the spot. He told the gathering that the state government stands with every citizen and is continuously working towards bringing governance to the doorstep of the people.

He stated that the “double-engine government” is committed to making Uttarakhand a leading state, and for this, public participation is essential at every level. The Chief Minister also mentioned that direct communication with the public is a symbol of the state government’s transparent and sensitive functioning.

On this occasion, District Panchayat President Mrs. Deepa Darmwal, Kaladhungi MLA Banshidhar Bhagat, Lalkuan MLA Dr. Mohan Singh Bisht, Bhimtal MLA Ram Singh Kaida, Ramnagar MLA Diwan Singh Bisht, BJP District President Pratap Bisht, various officials in the state government, Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, Inspector General Mrs. Riddhima Agarwal, District Magistrate in-charge Mrs. Anamika, along with many public representatives, officials, and a large number of citizens were present.

Chief Minister Dhami’s arrival in Haldwani created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among the general public. Citizens described the Chief Minister’s public relations program as a symbol of his sensitivity towards the public and his commitment to public welfare.
