Uttarakhand: CM Dhami handed over appointment letters to 1347 assistant teachers and 109 review and assistant review officers

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented appointment letters to 1,456 candidates at Doon Medical College, Patel Nagar, on Tuesday. This included 109 Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers selected through the Public Service Commission and 1,347 Assistant Teachers (LT) selected through the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

Congratulating all the candidates who received their appointment letters, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this opportunity represents a significant milestone in the candidates’ lives and is also crucial for laying the foundation for the state’s bright future. He expected the newly appointed young people to perform their duties with complete integrity, transparency, and dedication, and said they would set new standards of excellence in their respective fields.

The Chief Minister said that the most important foundation of any state’s governance system is its administrative system. The Secretariat can be called the brain of the state’s governance system, as it is here that policies are formulated, decisions are made, and blueprints for implementing development projects are prepared. Review officers play a crucial role in making this entire system effective. The Chief Minister said that when a child receives a good education, they not only improve their lives but also make invaluable contributions to society and the country. It is the duty of teachers to not only provide children with a good education but also instill in them a sense of responsibility towards society and the country, enabling them to become good citizens.

The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is continuously striving to modernize and ensure quality education in the state. They are continuously working to bring about comprehensive reforms at every level, from school infrastructure to digitalization. Several important steps have been taken to ensure a transparent and fair recruitment process in the state.

The Chief Minister said that in the last four years, more than 26,000 youth have been employed in government jobs in the state. This number is more than double the total number of jobs created during the tenure of previous governments since the state’s formation. Today, our youth are finding opportunities in government jobs based on a transparent system and merit. Recently, an incident of cheating by an individual was reported at an examination center in Haridwar. The government took immediate action, arresting the accused and forming an SIT to investigate the case. To protect the interests of the youth, and on their demand, the decision was also made to cancel the exam and recommend a CBI investigation. The Chief Minister stated that he personally visited the protest site and assured the youth that all their justified demands would be met.

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat stated that the process of appointments in the Education Department would continue, and that appointments would soon be made for BRC, CRP, Basic Teacher, and Class IV positions. He informed all the teachers receiving appointments that they were being appointed to remote areas. They would be required to serve in remote areas for a few years.

Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, MLA Vinod Chamoli, Secretary Ravinath Raman, Deependra Chaudhary, and Education Department officials were present on the occasion.
