The Assembly Secretariat has begun preparations for a special session to be held in the first week of November to mark the silver jubilee of the state’s founding. Legislative work will not be conducted during the session. The ruling party and the opposition will discuss developmental issues in the House.
The state government has decided to hold a two-day special session of the Assembly on November 9th, marking the silver jubilee of the state’s founding. The cabinet has authorized Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to set the date for the session. The Chief Minister will soon finalize the date for the session. The session will be held in Dehradun. The Assembly Secretariat has begun preparations.
In the last week of this month, Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan will hold a meeting with officials to discuss security arrangements during the session. Unlike regular sessions, there will be no question hour or legislative work during the special session. The two-day session will focus solely on the state’s development over the past 25 years and future strategies.
