On the occasion, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Rawat on Diwali. Chief Minister Dhami inquired about Harish Rawat’s health following his recent accident and prayed for his speedy recovery.
CM Dhami extends Diwali greetings, attends Diwali get-together at BJP office

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today attended the Diwali Milan ceremony held at the BJP State Office in Dehradun. He inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp and also participated in the Diwali puja.
Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Naresh Bansal, MLAs Suresh Gadhiya and Khajan Das, along with several MLAs, state officials, workers, and various organization officials were present at the event. On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to everyone, saying that the festival symbolizes light, harmony, prosperity, and positivity.
Chief Minister Dhami stated that Diwali also holds special significance for the economic and social development of the country. He noted that the implementation of the Next Generation GST by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has further simplified the business environment across the country. He added that the reduction in GST rates has greatly benefited both businesses and consumers, making Diwali a “Maha Savings Festival.”
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon the countrymen to adopt Swadeshi and build a self-reliant India. Today, India is no longer just a large market, but is emerging as an emerging global economic power. He noted that the British Prime Minister recently stated that India is poised to become the world’s largest economic power by 2028.
The Chief Minister said that we should advance the Prime Minister’s pledge of “Vocal for Local” by adopting indigenous products. This will not only strengthen the country’s economy but also provide employment opportunities to millions of youth. He said that the state government is also working tirelessly to make Uttarakhand self-reliant, strong, and prosperous, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s vision. The Chief Minister called upon all present to spread the pledge of a self-reliant India to every person.
