The fifth shrine of Uttarakhand is set to be inaugurated soon. Significantly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is arriving in Uttarakhand to inaugurate the shrine. Following the green light from the Prime Minister’s Office, the state government is now finalizing its preparations for the shrine.

Uttarakhand, including the country, is set to receive the gift of a shrine dedicated to the brave. Work on the shrine, part of the Dhami government’s dream project, has been completed. Consequently, it was anticipated that its inauguration would be held soon, so that people from across the country and the world could also see this site of the brave who sacrificed their lives for the protection of the motherland.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself spoke at an event in Dehradun regarding the shrine in Uttarakhand, which has further enhanced its significance. In fact, the proposal to establish this site in Dehradun as the fifth shrine was announced, and the Uttarakhand government subsequently accelerated the work on the shrine.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely present the Military Shrine to the people of the state on November 9th, the State Foundation Day. It is reported that the Prime Minister’s Office has given the green light for this, and this is likely why senior Uttarakhand government officials visited the Military Shrine to review the preparations. Uttarakhand’s Military Welfare Minister, Ganesh Joshi, confirmed this.

Military Welfare Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that this site is considered an important site in Uttarakhand and that he is pleased that during his tenure as Military Welfare Minister, this heritage site of the state and the country has been fully developed. He also claimed that given its future importance, people from across the country and the world will not only visit Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, but will also visit the Military Shrine, established as the fifth pilgrimage site in Dehradun.

Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Uttarakhand on the State Foundation Day is considered almost confirmed. But now, the inclusion of the inauguration of the Military Shrine has further enhanced the significance of this visit.

There have been reports of the inauguration of the country’s first Military Shrine in the past. However, now Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly received the green light from the Prime Minister’s Office for the inauguration of this important site. The country’s first Military Shrine is being built on four hectares of land in Guniyal village at a proposed cost of ₹91.26 crore (912.6 million rupees).
