The process of closing the doors of Kedarnath has begun. The Panchmukhi Doli of Baba Kedar arrived on Wednesday. The Doli entered the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, and the rituals of closing the doors began immediately.
The doors of Kedarnath Dham will be closed for devotees on the auspicious occasion of Bhai Dooj, October 23rd. Following this, the winter worship of Baba Kedar will be performed at the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath, where devotees will be able to have darshan of Baba for the next six months.
