The accident occurred on Saturday. According to reports, a speeding container truck hit a tractor carriage from behind on the highway near Paniyala village. The impact was so severe that Akbar, a resident of Jainpur Jhanjeri village, died on the spot, while his companion, Shabbir, was seriously injured.
One person killed, one injured in accident
It is reported that Akbar, a resident of Jainpur Jhanjeri village, was carrying bricks in a tractor carriage while passing on the highway near Paniyala village. Suddenly, a speeding container truck hit the tractor carriage from behind. Akbar died on the spot, while his companion, Shabbir, was injured.
Police engaged in investigation
Police arrived at the scene and admitted the injured man to the civil hospital for treatment. The body of the deceased youth was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. Akbar’s family is mourning the incident. Police are currently investigating the matter.
