The Haridwar administration has tightened its grip on the mining mafia. Late last night, action was taken against illegal mining in the river behind SIDCUL’s Pentagon Mall. The team seized two tractor-trolleys from the spot.
Administration’s Action Against Illegal Mining in Haridwar
The incident occurred late Tuesday night. A joint team of SDM Jitendra Kumar and District Mining Officer Mohammad Kazim Raza raided the site late last night. It is reported that illegal mining was underway in the river behind SIDCUL’s Pentagon Mall.
Two Tractor-Trolleys Sealed from the Scene
It is reported that the team seized two tractor-trolleys from the scene. Haridwar SDM Jitendra Kumar stated that strict action against illegal mining will continue and no one will be spared.
