Uttarakhand: The BJP’s official page features an AI video of Harish Rawat; a warning of filing an FIR has been issued

The controversy surrounding the artificial intelligence (AI)-generated video of former Chief Minister Harish Rawat on the BJP’s official social media page is escalating. Harish Rawat has accused the BJP government of spreading lies and has warned them to delete the video.

Expressing his anger, Harish Rawat said, “Is there no place for truth left in politics anymore?” He accused the BJP of spreading lies and demanded that BJP members apologize to the people of the state for their falsehoods. Harish Rawat further stated that if the false narrative being created against him on social media using AI is not immediately deleted and publicly retracted, it will expose the true nature of the BJP and the so-called “powerful” Dhami.

Harish Rawat questioned the BJP’s conduct, asking what kind of party it is that only spreads lies on its official pages. He alleged that political attacks are being launched against political opponents using falsehoods. He warned that if a public apology is not issued for this lie and the video is not removed, he will be forced to file an FIR against the concerned individuals at the police station. He also stated that he will file a complaint under cybercrime laws.

Harish Rawat also said that he will not stop here, but will go to the BJP office for seven consecutive days to expose this politics of lies. He said that he endured the wounds of 2017 and 2022, but he will not accept the way he is being attacked with lies for the 2027 elections under any circumstances.
