We want to make Devbhoomi (Uttarakhand) the best state in the country. We will not compromise at any level to achieve this. This was stated by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while addressing the gathering at the Mahakauthig festival being held at Noida Stadium.

CM Dhami reiterated his commitment to the overall development, security, and cultural preservation of the state. Dhami informed that approximately 70 percent of the state’s infrastructure development work has been completed through projects like Amrit, All-Weather Roads, and Udan.

After the completion of the first phase of work, trial runs of the rail service will begin, fulfilling his long-held dream of bringing trains to the mountains. He mentioned several important projects aimed at boosting the local economy and tourism. He also highlighted programs giving special recognition to women in the state, the Apple Mission, and various policy-making initiatives.

Government is strict on Love Jihad and religious conversions

Dhami said that these achievements are not only significant for development but also for the cultural and demographic security of Uttarakhand. No kind of illegal activity will be tolerated in Devbhoomi. Religious conversions, Love Jihad, and ideologies that spread violence will have no place in the state. The Chief Minister stated that the government has enacted strict laws for this purpose, such as the anti-conversion law, and action is being taken without any pressure.

In Uttarakhand, the law applies equally to everyone. The state’s culture and law and order will not be compromised at any cost. Taking a dig at the Congress party, he said that they are not concerned about the culture of Uttarakhand; they only see vote banks.

The state government is committed to making Uttarakhand a state that serves as an example for the country in development, security, and cultural preservation.

Uttarakhand’s achievements at the national level

The Chief Minister proudly announced that Uttarakhand secured the first position nationwide in the NITI Aayog’s 2023 rankings. Furthermore, the state achieved the top position nationwide in terms of increasing farmers’ income and also won the national award for the best state. He said that all these achievements are a testament to Uttarakhand’s overall development and cultural preservation.

Strict Stance on Law and Order

Dhami made it clear that activities like religious conversions, love jihad, and cheating mafias will not be tolerated in Uttarakhand. He said, “As long as I am here, not an inch of Uttarakhand’s land will fall into the hands of those with malicious intentions.” The strict laws enacted in the state are equally applicable to all. Action is also being taken against those who tarnish the image of Devbhoomi (the land of gods) through initiatives like Operation Kalnemi.

Uniform Civil Code and Social Unity

Dhami said that the Uniform Civil Code will prove to be an initiative that will benefit the entire country, starting from Uttarakhand. He emphasized that uniform laws are applicable to people of all classes and communities in the state, and this will be further strengthened in the future.
