Panic ensued at the Rispa Bridge. A car suddenly caught fire while in motion. Five young men were inside the car, all coming from the direction of Chidderwala. The men are reportedly cricketers from Haldwani.
Car catches fire on Rispa Bridge
This incident occurred in the Nehru Colony police station area. Smoke suddenly started billowing from the car’s bonnet. Seeing this, the five young men immediately got out of the vehicle. As soon as they exited, the car burst into flames.
All the young men are safe
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and, acting promptly, brought the fire under control. Fortunately, all the young men are safe, and there were no casualties or injuries.
Five cricketers from Haldwani were in the car
The five young men are reportedly cricketers who had come from Haldwani to play in a tournament in Dehradun. They were returning after playing a match at the Chidderwala Ayush Academy.
