Bullet Train to start from August 15, 2027
In fact, on New Year’s Day, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw clarified that India will get its first bullet train by August 15, 2027. This will bring about a major change in connectivity between cities. Initially, it will run between Surat and Vapi in Gujarat. In the first phase, it will run between Surat and Bilimora. After that, the Vapi to Surat section will be opened.

In which state will the bullet train run first?
Following this, the entire high-speed corridor from Vapi to Ahmedabad, Thane to Ahmedabad, and finally Mumbai to Ahmedabad will be operational. The Railway Minister jokingly said that people should get ready now. The bullet train is not far away.

How much will the bullet train fare be?
Now, people will be wondering about the fare. Currently, no official price has been announced. However, it is estimated that the fare from Mumbai to Ahmedabad could be between Rs. 3000-5000. It is likely that the price will be cheaper than air travel. The government will try to ensure that even the middle class can afford the ticket.
