Uttarakhand: BJP launches VB-G RAM G public awareness campaign, featuring bullock cart and tractor rallies for promotion

At a state-level workshop held at the Uttarakhand BJP headquarters in Dehradun, the BJP president and senior party officials provided detailed information about the VB-G RAM G public awareness campaign. It was stated that the campaign will be reached through various conferences, door-to-door outreach, farmer marches, tractor and bullock cart rallies, and other programs. Coordination teams have also been formed for the campaign under the leadership of State General Secretary Kundan Parihar.

A one-day workshop was held at the BJP state office on Saturday, guided by National Vice President and State Co-Incharge Rekha Verma, State President and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt, and State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar. State officials, district presidents, district in-charges, co-in-charges, and members of the program-related teams also participated in the workshop. State General Secretary Kundan Parihar is responsible for coordinating the public awareness campaign across the state. Additionally, Mahendra Singh Negi, State President of Kisan Morcha, Bhuwan Vikram Dabral (Assisting Officer), Deshraj Karnawal (Assisting Officer), and Umesh Tripathi, State Co-ordinator, Cooperative Cell, have been appointed.

State President Bhatt Mahendra Bhatt stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Vikas Bharat-Guarantee for Employment and Livelihood Mission Bill 2025 (VB-G RAM G) has been passed in Parliament. This is a revolutionary step towards the goal of a developed India, replacing MNREGA and accelerating rural development while curbing corruption. This legislation will strengthen the rural economy through livelihood and asset creation. These innovations demonstrate the Prime Minister’s continued commitment to farmers and workers. The objective is to ensure rural India’s comprehensive contribution to the vision of a developed India 2047 through such reforms.

State Campaign Coordinator Kundan Singh Parihar informed that a four-member committee has been formed at the district level to oversee the campaign’s activities. With their support, press conferences will be held at district headquarters, including presentations of the scheme. A district conference of district panchayat members, block panchayat members, and sarpanches will also be held, which will include MPs, MLAs, district-level members of cooperative institutions, and candidates who contested the district panchayat and block panchayat elections.

A block or division-level conference of all elected gram panchayat members and elected cooperative presidents will also be held, with district panchayat and block panchayat members participating. Farmer and laborer chaupals will be organized at the gram panchayat level to establish communication with farmers.

He stated that for effective dissemination, a door-to-door contact campaign will be launched in villages. Public relations programs such as farmer foot marches, tractor rallies, and bullock cart rallies will be organized at the block headquarters level. Virtual workshops will be organized before the start of district, division, and village-level programs. A contact campaign will be launched for all farmer organizations and farmer-laborer organizations, informing them about the benefits of the VB-G RAMG Act.
