Uttarakhand is experiencing a cold day today, with a rain and snowfall alert issued for these districts

A cold wave is being experienced in Uttarakhand. The effects of the cold are being felt in the surrounding areas. Even today, on Makar Sankranti, the day began with dense fog and cold winds. Chilly conditions are expected throughout the day in both the plains and the hilly regions. The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for continued cold wave conditions.

Rain and Snowfall Expected in Uttarakhand
Cold day conditions are likely to persist in Uttarakhand today. The Meteorological Department has issued a dense fog alert for 6 districts. Rain and snowfall are expected on January 17th and 18th. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in the three mountainous districts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, and Rudraprayag.

Cold day conditions are also expected in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts. A warning has been issued for dense fog in the plains of six districts of the state. Dense fog will prevail in the plains of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar, as well as Nainital, Champawat, Pauri, and Dehradun.

Cold to Intensify in Uttarakhand
