Uttarakhand: The son of the Kichha MLA was attacked by masked assailants and has been admitted to the hospital

Saurabh Behar, son of former Uttarakhand cabinet minister and Congress MLA from Kichha, Tilak Raj Behar, was attacked by three masked assailants late Sunday evening. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred late Sunday evening. Saurabh Behar, son of Congress MLA Tilak Raj Behar, was attacked by masked assailants. Saurabh is also a councilor from Ward Number 39 in Rudrapur. Following the incident, he was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Rudrapur. The incident has caused a stir in the area. The police are investigating the matter.

Police launch investigation

Upon receiving information about the incident, police officers and several leaders from political parties rushed to the spot. The police at the Awas Vikas outpost have launched an investigation into the incident. The police team is currently examining CCTV footage from the area surrounding the crime scene.

The MLA stated that his son, Saurabh, left home saying he was going to the Awas Vikas police outpost. On the way, masked men on a motorcycle brutally assaulted him. According to reports, Saurabh Behar was on his way to the Transit Camp police station to resolve a recent dispute when the attack occurred.
