According to the Baba Bulleh Shah Shrine Committee, the shrine was established on the school’s land with mutual consent. It was not an encroachment on government land in any way.
They said that this act was done deliberately with the intention of hurting religious sentiments. They have demanded that the culprits be identified and strict action be taken against them. They also warned that if no action is taken soon, the committee and its followers will launch a protest.

He inspected the shrine and gathered information about the entire incident. According to the police, a case has been registered against unknown persons, and an investigation has been launched. The police are searching for the accused with the help of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity. Police surveillance has been increased in the area after this incident. Local residents hope that the culprits will be arrested soon.
