Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has died in a plane crash. His plane crashed during landing at Baramati on Wednesday morning at 8:45 AM. According to initial reports, the accident occurred as the plane was landing at the airport. Five people were on board the plane, including Ajit Pawar, his personal assistant, security personnel, and the flight crew. All five tragically perished in the crash.

According to reports, Ajit Pawar was traveling from Mumbai to Baramati in a chartered plane when the aircraft skidded off the runway. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has confirmed that five people were killed in the crash.

All those on board the aircraft lost their lives
It is reported that they were on their way to Baramati to address rallies for the Maharashtra Panchayat elections when the accident occurred. Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule were in Delhi at the time. Following the accident, they immediately left for Baramati with their entire family.
