Uttarakhand Cabinet Decisions: Cabinet meeting concludes, 8 proposals approved

The Dhami cabinet meeting has concluded. A total of 8 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting. Chief Minister’s Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari is giving details about this in a press conference.

- ANMs working in the Health Department who have completed 5 years of service will now be able to transfer from one district to another with mutual consent.
- A new system has been implemented in the Revenue Department for land acquisition through mutual agreement.
- The cabinet approved the creation of new posts in the Tribal Welfare Department. The old rules have also been amended.
- A new policy has been formulated to prevent excessive exploitation of groundwater. Rates have been fixed for commercial use. The registration fee has been set at Rs. 5,000.
- GRD College has been granted permission to be upgraded to a university under Uttarakhand University. The cabinet has given permission to upgrade GRD College to a university under Uttarakhand University.
- The operation of Chinyalisaur and Gauchar airstrips will be handed over to the Ministry of Defence by the Central and State Governments.
- The land of Parag Farm located in Udham Singh Nagar was earlier given to SIDCUL. Now SIDCUL has been given permission to sub-lease its land.
- The cabinet has approved the Green Hydrogen Policy. A committee will be formed regarding subsidies, which will be chaired by the Chief Secretary.
