Sri Lankan team reached Bangladesh to play three ODIs
The Sri Lankan cricket team, led by newly appointed captain Kusal Perera, has arrived here to play a series of three ODIs. The Sri Lankan team will remain in the hotel for three days on rigorous segregation and in the meantime two tests will be done for its COVID-19. After this, they can practice each other from the fourth day itself. The first ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played on 23 May. After this, there will be the second and third ODIs on May 25 and 28. All three matches will be played at Shere Bangla Stadium Mirpur. Last week, Sri Lanka made several changes to their squad, replacing Dimuth Karunaratne as their opening partner Kusal Perera as captain and also excluded players like Angelo Mathews and Dinesh Chandimal. Kusal Mendis has been made the deputy captain.
