Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav has termed the incident of demolition of a hundred year old mosque at Ram Sanehi Ghat in Barabanki. Yadav said that this act of governance is against the concept of social harmony of the Indian Constitution. The BJP has become active in increasing communal tension as elections in UP draw near. BJP has been doing its politics by disturbing the Ganga-Jamuni culture of the country. Yadav said that the BJP wants to spread religious hysteria through the politics of hate. The public needs to be cautious of this. Breaking a hundred year old mosque is an abuse of power. The BJP has a history of being involved in such acts. Yadav has demanded that the Barabanki incident be investigated by the sitting judge of the High Court and reconstruction of the mosque. Said that a delegation of Samajwadi Party will contact the officials and talk about the incident.
