India’s highest ever check of 20.66 lakhs in last 24 hours, new record made again
In the last 24 hours, more than 20.66 lakh investigations have been done in India, which is the highest ever in a single day. With this achievement, India broke its record made yesterday. Also, more than 20 lakh investigations were conducted in the country for four consecutive days.
The daily positivity rate fell to 12.45 percent.
A total of 20,66,285 investigations were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country.
In India, the number of people recovering from Kovid-19 for the 9th consecutive day was higher than new cases of infection. In the last 24 hours, 3,57,630 people have been cured of the disease.
The total number of people recovering from the disease today is 2,30,70,365. The national rate of recovery from the disease rose to 87.76 percent.
10 states account for 73.46 percent of the number of people recovering.
In another positive development, daily new cases of Kovid-19 being recorded in India are less than three lakh for the sixth consecutive day.
2,57,299 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.
10 states accounted for 78.12 percent of the new cases reported in the last 24 hours. Tamil Nadu recorded the highest number of 36,184 new cases followed by Karnataka with 32,218 new cases.
On the other hand, the number of active cases of Kovid-19 in India fell to 29,23,400 today.
This is 11.12 percent of the total positive cases in the country.
There has been a decrease of 1,04,525 active cases in the last 24 hours.
Eight states account for 69.94 percent of the country’s total active cases.
With the expansion of the third phase of the nationwide vaccination campaign in India, the total dose of Kovid-19 vaccine given so far has gone up to more than 19.33 crore today.
According to the temporary report, a total of 19,33,72,819 doses of Kovid-19 vaccine have been given in 27,76,936 sessions till 7 am today. These include 97,38,148 healthcare workers (HCWs) who have taken the first dose of the vaccine, and 66,91,350 HCWs who have taken the second dose of the vaccine. In addition, there are 1,48,70,081 frontline personnel (FLWs) taking the first dose, 83,06,020 FLWs taking the second dose, and 92,97,532 people taking the first dose in the age group of 18 to 44 years. Along with this, there are 6,02,11,957 first dose patients aged 45 to 60 years and 96,84,295 beneficiaries taking the second dose, as well as 5,63,83,760 first dose and 1,81,89,676 second dose. The beneficiaries above 60 years of age are also included.
10 states account for 66.30 percent of the total doses given in the country so far.
