Mumbai : Constable Shinde dismissed from service in Mansukh Hiren murder case
Mumbai Police constable Vinayak Shinde, accused in the Mansukh buck murder case, was dismissed from service on Monday. Earlier, Mumbai Police Inspector Sachin Waje and his associate assistant police sub-inspector Riyaz Hisamuddin Qazi were dismissed from service. Waje and Qazi are accused in the case of industrialists Mukesh Ambani getting explosives from a vehicle and killing businessman Mansukh Hiran and were arrested by the NIA.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Western Region) Sandeep Karnik sacked Shinde from service under Article 311 (2) (b) of the Constitution. On February 25, the owner of the vehicle from which the explosive was found near Ambani’s house was allegedly Mansukh deer. Later on March 5, the reindeer’s body was found in Thane district.
