Himachal Pradesh / Solan : Covid patients will soon get better health facilities at Makeshift Hospital Rabon
On the instructions of Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, the district administration is striving for better mental and physical health of Solan Covid-19 positive patients. In this direction, Covid will be supported by patients, Radha Swami Satsang Raboun, Covid-19 dedicated MakeShift Hospital being set up. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner Solan Casey Chaman on Friday after inspecting the hospital under construction in Rabon.
KC Chaman said that Covid centers dedicated to the care of Covid-19 positive patients are functioning in Solan district. Numerous efforts are being made in the district with the aim of providing better facilities to the number of patients.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur had directed the district administration to prepare a makeshift hospital with at least 200 beds at the district headquarters level where not only uninterrupted oxygen facility is available but mental health of the patients can also be taken care of. In compliance with these instructions, the district administration selected Radha Swami Satsang, located in Rabon.
The Deputy Commissioner said that Radha Swami Satsang Sanstha is providing facilities to help Covid-19 patients at various places in Solan district. A makeshift hospital is being set up at Radha Swami Satsang Kendra in Rabon where Covid-19 positive patients can get various facilities. He said that 10 doctors, 60 nurses and 30 servicemen, sweepers and security guards would be deployed here to provide dedicated services to the patients.
KC Chaman said that manifold oxygen facility with all 200 beds will be available in the makeshift hospital being built at Radha Soami Satsang Rabaun. Out of these, high flow oxygen facility will be available in 20 beds.
He said that music will be arranged here to provide a peaceful, healthy and spiritual environment to the patients.
Casey Chaman said that a committee under the chairmanship of the Superintending Engineer of the Public Works Department has been formed to make this hospital of high quality. This committee is monitoring the completed work and making sure that the work is completed on time as per the prescribed standards.
On this occasion, he took stock of the works of the under construction Makeshift Hospital and issued necessary guidelines to the concerned officers and contractors.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Anurag Chandra Sharma, Sub Divisional Officer Solan Ajay Yadav, Superintending Engineer of Public Works Department Captain SP Jagota, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rajan Uppal, District Health Officer Dr. Mukta Rastogi, Public Works Department Executive Engineer Arvind Sharma, Water Power Department Executive Engineer Sumit Sood, Radha Swami Satsang Kendra Rabaun’s secretary Paramjit Singh, Rajkumar Battu and others were present.
