Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : Two youths of Uttarkashi arrested with smack

Police have arrested two accused smugglers who came to sell smack from Uttarkashi in Sahaspur area. The police have recovered 14 grams of smack worth about Rs.1.25 lakh from the accused. The police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act. On Saturday late evening, the informer informed the Dharmawala police about smack smuggling. On which the Dharmawala outpost police carried out a vigorous search operation on the Dharmawala-Saharanpur road. On this late night, the police caught two suspects and searched them. Police recovered smack from the accused. Both the accused Pritam son Raghuveer resident of village Jakhol police station Mori Uttarkashi and Arjun son Jayendra Singh resident of Natwar police station Mori district Uttarkashi were arrested. SO Sahaspur Narendra Singh Gehlawat told that after presenting both in the court, they were sent to jail in judicial custody. The police team included outpost in-charge Deepak Maithani, constables Rajneesh and Tejveer.
