Unprecedented contribution of Virbhadra Singh in the development of Himachal : Chief Minister
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur condoled the demise of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
Jai Ram Thakur reached Holi Lodge, the private residence of the former Chief Minister and paid floral tributes to the body of Virbhadra Singh. He expressed his deepest condolences along with former Chief Minister’s wife Pratibha Singh and their son Vikramaditya Singh.
Jai Ram Thakur said that Virbhadra Singh has an exemplary contribution in the development of Himachal Pradesh. Virbhadra Singh devoted his entire life towards the upliftment of every section of the society, especially the weaker and exploited sections. He said that Virbhadra Singh played an important role in the development of the state as well as the country while being the Union Minister. His strong will, commitment and determination will always be a source of inspiration for all of us. He said that the void created by the death of Virbhadra Singh would be difficult to fill in the times to come.
The Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, BJP State President Suresh Kashyap, senior BJP and Congress leaders also reached Holi Lodge and paid floral tributes to the body of Virbhadra Singh.
All the members of Himachal Pradesh cabinet also condoled the death of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
