Himachal Pradesh : Governor condoles the death of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya has condoled the death of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
The Governor paid floral tributes to Virbhadra Singh at his personal residence Holi Lodge. He expressed his condolences to former Chief Minister’s wife Pratibha Singh and his son Vikramaditya.
In his condolence message, the Governor said that Virbhadra Singh was a stalwart leader who has made unprecedented contribution in the development of Himachal Pradesh. He said that the country and Himachal in particular has lost a great personality.
He said that the people of the country and the state will always respect Virbhadra Singh for his simplicity, humanity and philanthropic nature. He will always be remembered for his services and contribution to the state as a statesman and Chief Minister.
Governor prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
