Rishikesh : Villagers are upset due to non-construction of bridges over Suswa river in Jhabrawala and Saung river in Kaluwala. Congress has expressed displeasure over the non-construction of bridges. He raised the demand for the construction of a bridge by sending a memorandum to the CM. Congress workers reached Doiwala tehsil on Thursday. There he sent a memorandum to the CM through SDM Laxmiraj Chauhan. Congress District President Gaurav Singh Choudhary said that the mandate was issued for construction of bridges over Suswa river in Bulawala, Jhabrawala area and Saung river in Kaluwala Gulrghati area of ​​Doiwala assembly. Even after getting the mandate, the construction has not been done. Due to this the villagers of the area are facing problems. Financial approval was given for both these bridges by issuing mandate in the previous Congress government. But as soon as the BJP government came to power in the state, the mandates of these two bridges have been put in cold storage. In this regard, former Chief Minister and Doiwala MLA Trivendra Singh Rawat has been gheraoed by protesting in the past. Despite assurances, these bridges are not being constructed. Said that these bridges should be constructed at the earliest.
