And the people of the house are sitting on the banks of the river with a pyre decorated that if the son comes, he should light the father. Ajay of Thathar village of Sant Kabir Nagar has become a BDC member in the Panchayat elections. They have to vote to choose the block head of their block.
The people of the party for which Ajay is a supporter had taken him to Varanasi to save him from the other partymen. On Friday afternoon, Ajay was going for the last rites on the banks of Saryu with his father’s funeral procession. For a long time, he kept shouldering his father’s car. After this incident, instead of taking the dead body of his father to the Saryu coast, Ajay’s family went straight to the Ghanghata police station in the area and lodged a complaint about the abduction of Ajay. Ghanghata’s circle officer Anshuman told that, ‘Ajay’s abduction has been reported from the funeral procession of his father. Police will find them. And those who are guilty of this, strict action will be taken against them.
Later, Ajay’s family reached Saryu’s ghat with his father’s body and kept waiting that if Ajay somehow comes free from his clutches, then he should light the father. But Ajay did not come.
